Food programs are implemented in exchange for various names. Among these programs are:

Rural Development Program (RD)
Work Program for Food (KABIKHA)
Rural Infrastructure Reform Program

Rural Development Program (RD) Water, Road, Fisheries and Forestry are managed in these four sectors. Although this program is implemented through various ministries or organizations, its main objectives are:

Build food security and help in the development of rural infrastructure by creating job opportunities.
Creating wealth for the poor people of the village.
To increase the income of the beneficiaries of the project, training, loans, savings and standing in their own foot in support of society.

The implementation of the project implementation committee

In order to implement the food program for the work, there is a project implementation committee (PIC) at the union level. The work that this committee does:

Acquire the size of the project and prepare and maintain accounts and documents and the concerned government and donor agency officials should report all the related accounts and documents related to the project.
The chairman and the members of the project committee are solely responsible for the implementation of the project and jointly everyone is responsible. Every committee meeting of the project committee was recorded and signed by every member present. Every year, meeting of the project committee meetings.
The Chairman of the Project Committee is responsible for the lifting of wheat / rice through self or its designated representative, properly preserving and distributing them according to the rules according to the rules.

VGD Women's Election

UP members form the initial list.
The three selected women members of the union prepared the initial list of 50% of the total allocated cards in the union.

VGD Women's Election Terms

Union VGD committee

The union VGD committee has implemented and operated the VGD program at the union level. The work that this committee does:

Regular monthly meetings
According to the prescribed conditions, VGD women are properly selected.
Ensures proper distribution of wheat, especially in VGD women who get 30 kilograms of food ration monthly.
To ensure that the food is delivered at the specific distribution date and to properly record all records (Master Roll, the Registered Registrar, Savings Registrar, Inspection Exemption).

VGD organized a special meeting to increase the social awareness among women in the union of non-government organizations, who do not have development partners or expansion workers in the union.

VGF Program

Rural Infrastructure Maintenance (TR) Programs

In the rainy season, the rural areas of Bangladesh decreased the number of public work opportunities. Grameen Infrastructure Maintenance (TR) Program is to provide food support through the employment of those who become unemployed at this time. Through this program, improvement of roads / roads, dam dam construction, bamboo crevasse, drainage and re-excavation, plantation, education / religious and other social institutions are developed. A maximum of 6 metric tons of wheat / rice is allocated for each project of this program.

Rural Maintenance Program (RMP)

Through rural maintenance programs, rural women are kept suitable for road movement. Union Parishad carries 10% cost of this program. Under the rural maintenance program, food assistance was provided to rural women in the city for repair of road throughout the year.
