History of Maharajpur Union

Jhenaidah district is not a very old one, it educates the present generation in the right path, and the Maharajpur Union Parishad, ready to open the door for the development of the country and society by increasing technical expertise, is ready.

                    Maharajpur Union is a city center union. It is known that the name of the name "Maharajpur" has been made by the local people, because a Maharaja lived here 100 years ago. Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila is a traditional region of Maharajpur Union. From the very beginning till today, the Maharajpur Union has its own self-sufficiency in various fields including education, culture, religious rituals, sports and even today.
